FAQ’s

Who is cheerleading suitable for?

Anyone (and it’s not just for girls!) – as long as your child is aged 4-18, there’s a team for them. They do not need any prior experience as everything will be taught as new.

How do I know which class my child should attend?

Recreational classes offer a relaxed opportunity to learn new skills without the pressure of competitions.

Pre-competitive classes are the first step to becoming a competing cheerleader. They are for those new to cheerleading, who would like the option to progress in the future.

Competitive classes are for more experienced athletes.

What to wear to cheerleading?

Athletes should come dressed in athletic clothing, trainers, hair tied away from face and no jewellery. It is very important that the dress code is adhered to for safety purposes.

Will my child perform throughout the year?

All groups perform in our Fierce Fest Showcase in February. This provides the opportunity for our young athletes to grow in confidence and perform what they have learnt to family and friends!

Pre-competitive and competitive classes also take part in Gateway to the Galaxy in May (Sheffield).

Competitive classes also compete at the ICC Nationals in Nottingham.
